There are lots and lots and lots of liberal Christians.

The most liberal churches are the ones that are dying the fastest which is not surprising because they have no discipline in their beliefs.

The church I grew up going to saw its under-40 attendance drop by three-quarters when they pulled out of the ELCA and joined NALC because ELCA was going to allow gay pastors as long as they were in monogamous relationships and NALC doesn't. Almost all the active members now are in their late 50's or older.

Lots of people in my generation and younger are tired of the shit constantly spewed about how gays or muslims (or anything "the church" doesn't approve of, basically) are evil or from the devil. I've known gay people and Muslim people, and none of them have tried to turn me gay or murder me while screaming "Allahu Akbar!"

Average Fiilipino male is like 5'3" 120lbs. The women are even smaller. Went out with one girl who turned out to be 4'9" 80lbs. It was kinda weird tbh.

There's a couple Filipinos where I work, and one is this very sweet (and very outspoken) woman. Another is a guy about her age, and one time me and the woman were talking when he walked up, said something, and left. She has a strong accent, but his is so thick I can barely understand him (though I never said anything b/c I didn't want to insult him). After he left, the woman shook her head and said this (phonetic rendering of her accent):

Which episode are you referring to?

Anyway, It's been stated repeatedly in the reboot that The Doctor is the name he chose for himself. In season 10 Missy flat-out states his name is Doctor Who, but this is almost certainly a lie. The point is, the show is deliberately and consistently ambiguous about his name.

Then in "Twice Upon a Time", they had the First Doctor joke about calling himself Doctor Who because he'd tell people "I'm The Doctor" and they'd say "Doctor who?".

Which is actually a callback to the show's very first episode, when Ian confronted The Doctor; only knowing him as Susan's grandfather, he called him "Doctor Foreman", to which The Doctor replied "Doctor who?"

I actually like their breadsticks as much as Pizza Hut's, just in a different way (it helps that you can eat PJ's breadsticks cold, whereas PH's can pretty much be used to hammer nails). But their pizza is pretty 'meh' to be honest. IMO, I would rate the local pizza places near me:

Yeah I enjoy theories like that, but I don't really care if they're true or not. But I can definitely imagine that they put in Easter eggs on purpose to hint at such connections.

Just logistically, it makes no sense. If Elsa and Anna's parents were traveling from their home (Arendelle, which is analogous to Norway) to Corona (analogous to the Baltic region between German and Poland), a trip that wasnt going to take very long even in a sailing vessel (they said they'd be back in two weeks), there's no believable way for them to get shipwrecked and wind up in the central African forest.

Back on-topic, Moana ended up edging out Frozen as my favorite modern Disney film. Auli'i Cravalho impressed the hell out of me. The heart and vulnerability she gave to the character were incredibly mature takes for a 14-year old rookie actress.

I've never understood how so many nations in WW2 totally discounted America and it's ability to shape the war to it's will. After WW1 it should have been pretty clear, especially to Germany, just the kind of economic and military powerhouse America was. There were some real intelligent people that completely fucked the pooch when it came to America in WW2 and I've never seen it explained well enough tbh cacturne.

For one thing, they were counting on isolationist sentiment (which had been very strong after WW1) continuing to dictate policy. For another, Hitler was an idiot and didn't expect England to last long enough that the U.S. would get involved, and for a third, Japan failed to cripple the Pacific Fleet when they had the chance.

The Japanese wanted to destroy Americas pacific fleet so they could have control of the entire ocean. They thought a surprise attack would knock enough American power out of the war before it began that America wouldnt be able to launch a counterattack.

Ironically, they pretty much fucked themselves, b/c U.S. Naval strategy at that time was all about the battleships. With so many of them out of commission, the Navy had to "fall back" to using aircraft carriers, which is what allowed them to take out the Imperial Navy.
